Effect of Phosphatidylcholine on Dyslipidemia and Atherogenic Index in High Fructose Exposed Rats


 The purpose of this research was to investigate the beneficial effects phosphatidylcholine in reducing changes both lipid and protein profiles addition atherogenic index adult rats with fructose-induced metabolic syndrome. Thirty-six mature Wistar Albino female (Rattus norvegicus) (aged 12-15 weeks weighing 200±10 g) were divided randomly into four groups (G1, G2, G3, G4); then variable treatments orally administered for 62 days as follows: G1 (Control group), received distilled water; treated (PC) (1 g/kg BW); G3 (Fr), dosed 40% fructose 25% mixed drinking G4 (Fr+PC), also intubated water, PC at 1 BW by oral tube. At end research, specimens taken cardio puncture approach after fasting 8-12 h.
